Speaker Bio: Dorr H. Clark is an engineer and educator with deep roots in Silicon Valley. He’s committed to creating high-quality software, solving technical challenges, and supporting strong engineering teams. As the platform architect for NetScaler, the world’s fastest load balancer, he’s helped develop high-performance systems that meet the demands of large enterprises.
Dorr has also been a part-time instructor at Santa Clara University’s Graduate School of Engineering since he was a grad student, combining academic knowledge with real-world experience. He’s worked on both FreeBSD and LynxOS UNIX systems and co-wrote the IPv6 stack for the Avalanche in C++ with Dough Berg. He also designed the software for the Dataflow Machine, a powerful, visually programmable DSP supercomputer.
